Mather Award Recipients Announced

With circumstances surrounding COVID, Ed and Mary Matherwe were unable to announce the 2019 Mather Award Winner as initially planned. Now we have two Mather Award Winners to announce for both the 2019 and 2020 academic years.

The recipients are being recognized for the design and implementation of their applied food safety projects, a required component of the Online Master of Science in Food Safety degree program. Their projects were evaluated on relevance, scientific merit, and the potential impact to address a food safety issue.

Congratulations to our recipients on this fine achievement.

The award is made possible through the support of Dr. Ed and Mrs. Mary Mather. Dr. Ed Mather was the founding director of the program.
