Megan Patrick is a seasoned online instructor, instructional designer, and graphic designer. With extensive experience transitioning face-to-face learning experiences to online formats, she collaborates with faculty to develop courses that ensure students receive a high-quality online education. Since 2017, she has provided online graduate-level instruction to students, focusing on academic writing, APA style, Systems Thinking, and strategies for success in the online learning environment. She firmly believes in the power of humanizing learning and has witnessed its transformative impact on student engagement. Her research focuses on enhancing collaborations between instructional designers and faculty during the online course design process, emphasizing the importance of building trust and empathy. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Lake Forest College and an M.A. in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. She has successfully defended her dissertation in the Leadership and Innovation Ed.D. program at Arizona State University, with the degree to be conferred in December 2024.
