In conjunction with the International HACCP Alliance Certificate of Completion, the MSU Online Food Safety Program introduces an entirely online HACCP course. The course is structured for convenience and flexibility to accommodate participants’ individual pacing.

Throughout the course, participants will define HACCP and elaborate on the development of HACCP plans. They will gain a comprehensive understanding of food safety hazards, spanning biological, chemical, and physical risks, with the opportunity to construct a sample HACCP plan.

Course Structure

This course is divided into five modules. It is purposefully crafted to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills for successfully navigating HACCP concepts. The instructor will be available throughout the course for questions.

Assessments encompass quizzes for modules 1–3 and a discussion forum in module 4. The culmination occurs in module 5, where participants apply their knowledge to craft a sample HACCP plan, addressing a real-world scenario and gaining practical insights into HACCP implementation. 

Successful course completion earns participants the International HACCP Alliance Certificate of Completion. HACCP Alliance Seal
