Online MSFS Launches New Website

The Online MS in Food Safety (MSFS) program has launched a new website!  It went live on February 8th, following 9 months of planning and development.  Heidi Chen, the MSFS program’s academic technology coordinator, led the project, working diligently with web designers and fellow staff members to bring the new site online.
"The most important drive for designing a new website” said Heidi, “was to make it responsive, which means it is completely compatible with any platform you use: computers or mobile devices. This is the trend of modern websites, in an effort to give the user their greatest amount of flexibility. Being a responsive site also helps to maintain our very high ranking in a Google search."
The new site implements a modern, clean design, which complies with Michigan State University's website guidelines. Another focus in the site’s design was in streamlining its content so that users can easily navigate the information.  “We believe this new site will prove to be very helpful for our prospective students, current students, alumni and anyone else who is interested in our program” remarked Heidi.
